Mark-making at the Contact Boundary: A weekend workshop

Putting pencil to paper (or marker or chalk — or using clay or a variety of other materials) leaves a residue that evidences our “doing-together.” From this view of mark-making, we can explore novel experiences at the contact-boundary in a multi-dimensional way.

This interactive-group weekend workshop will use experiential exercises to explore mark-making experiments as Gestalt therapy interventions. We will discover how variations on these interventions emerge from the experience together and impact the relational field. The experiential group is grounded in Gestalt theory to support incorporation of mark-making into the arc of on-going therapy.

This interactive group weekend workshop is in-person and intended for alumni and trainees of Gestalt Associates for Psychotherapy. Others with similar Gestalt therapy training may be accepted with approval of the instructor. (Contact Todd at tsenzon@gmail.com.)
