We will address the historical evolution of somatic awareness in treatment and focus on practical application of somatic awareness in our Gestalt tradition, including the concepts of kinesthesia, kinesthetic resonance, and diagnosing by the aesthetic criteria.   The course will consist of 15 hours of lecture and experiential work plus a short reflection paper for people in the PA program taking this course as part of their ongoing training.
